2018. 11. 24.JST-ALCA 公開ワークショップ『相利共生微生物を活用した効率的水生バイオマス生産：ウキクサモデル』（タイ、バンコク） 2018. 11. 24.

JST-ALCA 国際活動推進強化支援事業（平成30年度）として、2018年11月24日（土）バンコク市内センチュリーパークホテルにて公開ワークショップを開催し、これまでの研究成果を発表そして展示しました。会議はJSTとJSPS-NRCTで共催し、カセサート大学理学部長による開会の辞につづき、Gunjana Theeragool（NRCT: カセサート大）と森川正章（ALCA: 北海道大）がそれぞれの事業課題の概要を紹介しました。つづいて、ALCA課題分担者の遠山　忠（山梨大）、久保田健吾（東北大）、小山時隆（京都大）、石澤秀紘（大阪大）、Yeni Khairina（北海道大）、Chanita Boonmak（カセサート大）（以上敬称略）が最新の研究成果を報告しました。

休日にもかかわらず、現地の研究者や企業関係者および学生あわせて約60名が来場し、大きな反響がありました。昼食会ではウキクサや微細藻類を精力的に研究しているタイの研究者とも懇親を深め、今後につながる貴重な意見交換を行うことができました。

As a JST-ALCA International Activity Promotion Support Project (FY2018), on Nov 24, 2018 (Saturday), at the Century Park Hotel in Bangkok, we publicly displayed our research outcomes. The public workshop was co-hosted by JST and JSPS-NRCT. Followed by opening remarks by Dr. Apisit Songsasen, Dean of Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University, Dr. Gunjana Theeragool (NRCT: Kasetsart Univ.) and Prof. Masaaki Morikawa (ALCA: Hokkaido Univ.) Introduced the outline of their respective project issues . Next, Dr. Tadashi Toyama (Yamanashi Univ.), Dr. Kengo Kubota (Tohoku University), Dr. Takashi Oyama (Kyoto Univ.), Mr. Hidehiro Ishizawa (Osaka Univ.), Ms. Yeni Khairina (Hokkaido Univ.), and Dr. Chanita Boonmak (Kasetsart Univ.) reported the latest research results.

Despite the holidays, there were about 60 attendees, including local researchers, corporate officials and students, and every talk received great response. At the luncheon, we were able to deepen the relationship with researchers in Thailand who are actively studying duckweed and microalgae, and exchange valuable opinions leading to the future.
