Review paper on mineral transport by Aibara and Miwa was accepted for publication in Plant and Cell Physiology.  In this review article, we describe recent advances on two important strategies for efficient acquisition and transport of essential minerals in plants.  We especially focus on regulation of (i) root system architecture and (ii) transporter expression in response to mineral nutrient conditions.
