- My research seeks to understand how anthropogenic environmental changes, especially those to the sensory environment, alter animal behaviors, drive species distributions, and shape biological communities. My approach combines field-based research and controlled experimental design. My areas of interest include both basic and applied ecological questions, with the latter now my primary focus, and I study various taxonomic groups including birds, amphibians, and insects.
